Do you have hobbies like cooking, baking, clicking photos, Making small craft items, and sending gifts to people, fashion designing, painting, graphic designing, and what not? Have you tried starting up a business with that and struggling to get customers in your city? Have you started freelancing and clueless about where to go next? The same faith was seen by the freelancers in my town Guwahati. They were struggling to get customers and this struggle was not one-sided even customers were struggling to find freelance for their personalized work.
HobbyHub is a Guwahati based platform that solves all these problems. From providing a niche to freelancers where they can simply sign up and create their profile to making it handy for customers to directly contact them through the contact information provided by them in the site, HobbyHub makes the process easier.
Nikunj Bagaria came up with this idea when he noticed similar problems as a customer to find freelancers who could do his work. Since visiting big stores or established sellers every time for every small thing is not only expensive but least preferred by people and people tend to move to freelancers. But again though there are many freelancers, it has been always hard to find the best one for the work of finding the right freelancer and coming to a decision. Looking at all these problems the website work was started.
The founder states that- “The process of finding a web developer (again who’s a freelancer) was a difficult task just as cited above since established web developers take a huge sum which as a startup was never affordable for me as I am still a student. Right from there from finding a graphic designer, to content makers have been a struggle and slowly I came in contact with various talented people in town. This was how it all started and we launched the site with a little doubt about whether people will accept it or not
Right now we have freelancers in all the service sections though certain services are yet to be filled up with many. Since the reach is less right now for us and we are working every day to reach people and freelancers and make their work easier.”
As of now, the site has the highest number of freelancers in the artist section followed by photographers and bakers and the least in the fashion designer section.
The site is accessible and easy to use for customers as well as freelancers. For freelancers, it is a simple registration process and people who are in search of freelancers it’s just a click away now. The team is trying to reach as many people as possible to create the best niche of freelancers in town and making it easier for both the parties to deal with the process of selling and buying easier than before.
During the pandemic, many people have come up with their business and many restaurants and caterers and gift shops have been closed so people resort to freelancers. Henceforth this site provides them a platform to connect with a huge sum of customers and for customers to choose the freelancer of their choice.
Right now the site has made services like artists and gift makers available for people around the country and is hoping to expand the other services soon with its growth in the city. If you are searching for a place to get yourself a good customer base HobbyHub gives all you need for free.

As a whole HOBBYHUB is a platform every customer or freelancer in Guwahati was waiting for. With few of its services expanded around the country, they are hoping to expand the rest with the support of people. There’s a long way to go they say as there are many potential people in the city who are yet not aware since it’s a small startup with a small team. They are hoping to take this forward and reach out to every individual and make work easier.
The team says they are hoping to launch a new UPDATE with more features in the coming weeks for the convenience of the customers as well as freelancers. Noticing the problems of having a crowd of freelancers under a single service they are planning to bring down subcategories and many more features soon by the month of September.
